The minor in Entomology is available to a broad range of students majoring in various disciplines such as Agriculture, Biology, Veterinary Medicine or Art. The objectives of the Entomology minor are to:

1. provide excellent instruction in Entomology to stimulate life-long learning and service.
2. prepare students completing the minor in Entomology for careers as technical or sales representatives, greenhouse or nursery managers, veterinarians, teachers, scientific illustrators, technical writers, and/or for continuing graduate or professional education.
