Current Research Interests:
My dissertation research will focus on the ecology and management of lepidopteran pests in transgenic Bt cotton. The species of interest include fall armyworm, bollworm and tobacco budworm. The primary projects will examine the symptomology of fall armyworm injury on cotton plants, measure the sub-lethal effects of transgenic cultivars on insect development, and determine the behavior on conventional versus transgenic plants. Additional research interests include evaluating insecticide efficacy against the spectrum of cotton, soybean, and field corn pests.
