Current Area of Research:
I am working in Urban Entomology Lab of Dr. Gregg Henderson. My interests are in termites, especially subterranean termites. I would like to focus my research on the study of behaviors of termites and use the knowledge in the control of these nuisance pests. One of the behavioral aspects that I am interested in is the foraging behavior and the factors influencing their foraging patterns. Other aspects include the research on the use of physical barriers as well as biological barriers (use of repellent plants) and their applicability to protect the structures of human interests.
